Audio Bible Study Lessons

Listed below are audio-based Bible study samples from selected MP3 Study CD series. Some of the series have all the available lessons online for free sampling. Other series have only some of the lessons online. The CDs have all the available lessons of each series. To begin sample listening, click one of the Bible Study titles below.

These online samples of audio Bible studies by Dr. Constable, Jim Lewis, and Dr. Art Farstad, are available as complete series on CD. Sonic Light produces 18 Bible Study CDs by Dr. Constable containing 23 series, and 5 CDs by former Pastor Jim Lewis and the late Dr. Art Farstad. The CDs available for purchase are recorded in MP3 format and require either a computer with a CD-rom drive, a media player, and a browser; or an MP3-compatible CD player, like installed in some cars. The MP3 files can also be converted & downloaded to an iPod using iTunes, or to an MP3 player. They can also be downloaded to a Palm OS 5.0-compatible Palm or Smartphone device equipped with Pocket Tunes. The audio series are available on individual CDs, Discount Sets, or full sets on 2 DVDs.

Requirements for playing Sonic Light CDs: The audio CDs are the computer-format CD-rom kind. They must either be played on a CD-rom drive or an MP3-compatible CD player like those installed in some cars.  If your car's CD player is MP3 compatible, and supports MP3 soundtracks, you can listen to the CD in your car.

For iPod users, you can download the MP3 files from the CD to an iPod or other MP3 player (click here for basic iTunes instructions).  Other handheld devices including some Palm or Windows Mobile devices that support MP3 files can also download them.

Since 2008 Sonic Light has offered lower prices on the audio Bible Study CDs. In spite of economically difficult times, we desire that visitors benefit from the hearing of God's Word (cf. Deut. 8:3; Isa. 55:1-2) as taught by a gifted, qualified teacher like Dr. Tom Constable. CD/DVD Audio Quality: The Study CD/DVDs are recorded at a higher level of audio quality than the online samples. The above samples were purposely done at a lower setting to conserve space and allow for more download sampling. A small number of lessons on a few CDs have a little background noise or audio interference because of the original recording. [A few lessons in some series were not recorded and are unavailable.]

Discount Prices for CD/DVD customers: When you buy a CD Discount Set, the more lessons you buy, the bigger the discount, as illustrated below. The small CD discount set prices are 20% less per CD than the individual CD price. The OT & NT CD discount sets are 30% less per CD than the individual CD price. The 2 DVDs, containing the full OT or NT CD lessons, are priced 35% less per CD than the individual CD price (computer-based DVD drive required for these).

To Play a Study CD: You need an audio player (a software program) that is capable of playing MP3 audio files. Microsoft's Windows Media Player works well with Study CD lessons. Great news for iPod w/ iTunes users or Palm or Smartphone (Palm OS 5.0) users with Pocket Tunes! Sonic Light's audio CDs are iPod (iTunes) and Pocket Tunes compatible! If you enjoy listening to audio programming on your iPod or Pocket Tunes device, you can download the MP3 files to your iPod or Palm OS 5.0 or other handheld that supports MP3 files.
