Introduction to Dr. Constable's Bible Study Notes

The following are notes that I have prepared from my own study of the Scriptures. I distribute them to my students in my Bible classes at Dallas Theological Seminary and have done so for many years. I have also made some of them available to the people in my church. They provide more information than a study Bible, but they are less technical than many commentaries.

These are working documents. As you will notice, they each have a year edition number. I am constantly upgrading, adding to, and changing these notes. Whenever I teach a class and distribute them, I print out the most current edition and name it for the year in which I teach the class. So the edition year indicates the last time I taught the book using the notes.

I offer these notes to anyone who is interested in understanding the Bible better. They are not perfect, as I am not. They reflect my present level of understanding. As new editions become available, I will replace the older ones. You may print them or simply read them off the screen. Feel free to duplicate paper copies for distribution to other people. Please do not change them and then distribute them as my work. They are copyrighted.

In addition to the notes, you may also access my expositions of several Bible books that I have delivered to my adult Sunday school class over several years. Samples of the series can be monitored at this site. The series are available for purchase from this site.
